Cannot believe that we are getting ready to have our 50th Class Reunion.  Since we had our 40th Class Reunion alot has changed for me.  I retired in 2013, got married and moved to Savannah, GA  Louis Buckner and I reconnected at our 40th Class Reunion and in August 2013 we were married!  Some of you know that Louis and I dated most of our senior year at Briarcliff!!   I have 3 children..... a son, Corbin (47) and  2 daughters, Chrissie (43) and Brooke (31).  I have 5 grandchildren: 3 granddaughters ranging in age from 19 to 12 and 2 grandsons age 15 and 7.  Since I moved to Savannah I have started working as a Docent (tour guide) at the historical Davenport House and Bonaventure Historical Cemetery.  I have always loved history and Savannah is a great historical city!

I am looking forward to our reunion and seeing everyone again!!

Comment:      It seems, just a short while ago, my parents were going to their 40th high school reunion.  Pretty scary, when you turn into your parents, isn't it?
Anyway I've been lucky in business, in marriage not so much, but their mother and I have three good kids to show for our efforts.  Our oldest, Chelsea, starts the Univ. of South Carolina in August.  Our other two, Carly and Cooper  are doing well at Chattahoochee High here in North Fulton, where we've lived for the past seven years.  Before that we lived in Los Angeles  for about the same length of time.
Thanks so much to Patricia, Bonnie, Rick and everybody else who helped put this reunion together.  OUTSTANDING JOB!  I'm  really looking forward to seeing you all there.  Randy C

P.S.  Do you think it's too late to ask for a recount  on the Mr. Briarcliff Results?

Comment: Wow! Has it really been 40 years since someone (who I'll keep temporarily nameless) took over the PA system during home room with an awesome audio ditty on "sugar bear Jaines"(our not so fearless principal)!
I hope everyone out there is thriving as we all approach 60!!!! Well at least I think it actually does beat the alternative! I'm alive and quite well out here in my piece of heaven (southern California), although I do get back into Atlanta to check on my frail mom as much as I can.
I'll do my best to make back in to the ATL for the reuinion if at all possible. I'd love to see you guys, and reconnect after all these years!

Comment: It is so much fun to read about where everyone is now. My husband, Ron, and I are retired living north of Atlanta at Big Canoe. We have two children. Our daughter is in Alpharetta, and our son lives in Texas. We have three grandchildren that we enjoy spending as much time as we possibly can with. I am a GSU grad and spent my working years teaching in Fulton County.

God is good . . . blessings to all!

Comment:

In 1973, I was extremely lucky to meet an amazing woman from Fayetteville, GA. Jeanne and I have just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. We have two children, Alison, who is 41, single, and lives in Fayetteville, GA (where Jeanne's family goes back 7 generations on both sides of her family) and Kipp who lives in Denver. He has one child with another on the way before the reunion.

I have been retired since 2011, and have been able to live off the rents from our real estate investments.

On 2/14/18, my wife started an international art project to commemorate the 70,273 disabled people that the Nazi physicians had murdered between January, 1940 and August, 1941. We are dealing with people from 135 different countries and have been travelling across th U.S. and Europe to attend exhibits of the art. It has been very tiring, but very rewarding. I am very proud of her efforts.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again, telling old stories, and, maybe, some new one, too.

Thanks to the Reunon Committee for all their hard work!
